Cat has fallen out with me (and she’s been very funny)

She stormed off her usual spot on the bed to sleep on the sofa downstairs.
But came back up twice to shout at me…for a little cat she has a big voice!

Then when she heard me getting up for the loo she came rushing up the stairs in to the bathroom, and sat staring at the door with her back to me

I’ve just woken up and she’s sat jussst out of reach on the bed, again with her back to me, and checking to see if I’ve noticed.

My crime?
She wanted to sit on my lap.
A: she never wants to sit on my lap, my head, chest, shoulders yes but not lap.
B: I have severe nerve pain in my legs, even a light blanket on them is painful. So her admittedly dainty weight on them with the kneading sounds like a form of medieval torcher.
C: I then had the barefaced cheek to go to bed without her (she was eating).

So how long do you reckon I’ll be punished for?

Well, you'll just have to wait it out and see how she feels about the situation. It's her prerogative to be a "Contrary Mary". Mine are fairly forgiving, thank goodness. Quite honestly, I don't think I could deal with the guilt

A family friend had a long legged handsome black car called Leroy (Fame) whenever she was late from work he would stand in front of her and poo at her feet!!
Apart from that he was an amazing vocalist!!

I had to pop out for an hour to the Drs.

When I got back she’d forgotten for a minute that she was pissed off with me and I got a ‘Oh Hello, oh hang on I’m pissed off with you’

And off she stormed upstairs…

Oh and thanks for the complements, I won’t be passing them on, she KNOWS she beautiful. Not bad for a 17 year old eh?

That cat has got the smarts. Sitting on the toilet seat is perfect because it's not actually WRONG is it? Not like pissing in your shoe or scratching your suitcase. It's just bloody passive aggressively annoying. And now she makes up with you. On her terms and in her good time. Pity it's when you want to sleep. But she knew she'd have to eventually, so for her, what better time? Full admiration for clever kitty!

I know when I’ve done something to annoy mine ( I’m never sure what though) as he makes sure he follows me from room to room only to sit with his back to me. They really know how to make a point 😂

Yes, whenever we came back from a holiday, while he'd been looked after by a neighbor, he'd follow me around but sit in the room with his nose in the corner, I'd only see his arse for a couple of days! If I tried to pick him up he'd go all stiff- normally he loved being picked up.

He was telling me very strongly that he disapproved of my absence.

Ours does that pointed turning his back on us when sulking. After his first trip to the vets he looked at the proffered treats then turned up his nose and stalked off. He returned 20 minutes later and ate them begrudgingly, then stalked off again.

Im still being huffed at, i was very bold, very bold to the cat, i left her and went off in an ambulance and she was looked after by friends popping in and out of the house several times a day.

When i came back i didnt smell like i did before, can anybody guess where i was? (not the v-e-t-s but i felt i should have been at one desperate point) despite treats and lots of play, ive got a few pounces upon me but none with the purring love that came before all this.

Its been 6 days, how long will it take to win this kitty over? For context, i was missing for 10. Which was a really long, long time. She had to listen to mellow magic thu the telly while she slept on my bed at night,
