SureFlap DualScan Microchip flap?

We have adopted a adult male who is quite big - 5.6kg, does anyone know if he would fit through a SureFlap DualScan Microchip flap?

Also is there an alternative you'd suggest? I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the options.

thanks

I'm not sure about the Sureflap Dualscan but I have two large cats around the same weight and I bought the Sureflap petflap as opposed to the catflap as it is bigger and recommended for bigger cats. Not sure if they do the petflap size in the Dualscan?

My Bunz is fairly large and he fits the Dualscan Microchip flat. Cats can be quite liquid when they need to be. Grin

We've got a big hinge who is three quarters Maine coon and he is nearly 7 kg and old now too at 14 and he gets through. We love ours and after a few funny days so do the cats!

We’ve got the pet flap. Harry isn’t particularly large but he’s a creature of habit and there was a large cat flap when we moved in!

I love ours, it’s controlled by an app and the ears on the hub flash when he goes in and out!
