She started last night. Not just a furball. she's been sick in the night and again this morning. Seems fine in herself otherwise. Feeling worried Confused

Feed her boiled chicken n rice for a day or too to settle her stomach n see how that goes. If it persists, take her to the vet x

Persistent vomiting requires immediate veterinary attention there could be a foreign body, pancreatitis as just the two most common causes.

Absolutely needs to go to the vets.

I've tried it on my cat before, and the sickness passed within a day. But then I knew sickness may happen as my cat got in to some gone off ham out my bin.

I only worry about mine when they're not themselves, hunched up not moving etc that should clear up on it's own or with a bland diet for a few days

Hi OP we had this last year. Old cat, started being sick, it just seemed to be her food at first, we'd changed brands and she is fussy! However after a day it quickly turned into frothy yellow bile and was constant! She seemed to deteriorate very quickly, so we rang the vets and took her in.

They never did get to the bottom of what caused it, but she spent a day on IV for fluids, a course of antibiotics and she was back to normal soon after.

Never her seen her so poorly though, the vet said if the sick is clear, forothy or yellow it isn't food related and needs looking at so if it like this at all take the cat in.

Looks just like her Iams food. Not frothy. Will take her in the morning to vets. Am wondering if she's just eaten something dodgy like a mouse - she stlll seems fine in herself.

Is it coming by out both ends? Give her plain chicken and a bowl of water see if it’s stopped by morning. Mine get it if I chang foods or they eat too much fish.

Sometimes my cat goes through phases of throwing up a bit of what looks like undigested biscuits! But she has always been fine. I think it's just a cat thing! Put it down to maybe her eating too much occasionally, or feeling extra sensitive now and again, as we all do, or attempting to throw up a fur ball but food coming out instead!

I wouldn't worry too much unless it happens say 2 days in a row. And particularly if she doesn't seem herself. Cats are very good at hiding if they are feeling ill. So if they are acting out of character it really should be taken seriously as this can be a sign that they really are feeling so bad they can't hide it!

She seems fine now. It was a 24hr thing. Maybe she just ate something funny? Will keep my eye on her. Thanks for the suggestions Smile
