Brought Casper cat, a 16 month old ginger fluffster, home today.

I'll provide photos if he ever comes out from under the sofa.

Congratulations! A photo is essential, get the dreamies out.

Snap! Ours came home today too (I also put a thread up). However, he is quite the confident fella and wanting to be out the room. We've left him to snooze for a bit.

Sentences I've never said before: "don't let me forget I left chicken under the sofa."

Fantastic, many congrats, I so miss having a cat, and ginger cats are amazing, I so miss my ginger girl, she was so clever. The cleverest cat out of the three gorgeous ones I have owned. Enjoy OP.

He's beautiful! I have a little black and white girl and she's lovely, but it's one of my life goals to own a big ginger boy one day. Here's my girl.

As a fellow ginger owner x2, OH and I are admiring your boy - he’s gorgeous! Showed OH and his immediate comment was how happy he looks 😃

Both completely adorable, sweethearts!

He is doing lots of purring and treading (claws need a trim, ouch!), @NotTheQueen.

Your girl is beautiful, @meanapparently . I used to have a black and white girl who was a real sweetie.

He's gone upstairs to yowl at our bedroom door. In accordance with Cat Law that no door must be closed to them.

How do I make sure he knows where his litter tray is? I've taken him to it a couple of times but he won't go in. Should I take the lid off?

Yes take the litter tray lid off, I see he has his paws undetrg the table already.

ScreamingValenta · 13/01/2018 22:54

If by any chance he doesn't find the litter tray in time, put some of what he's done onto the litter (and then clean the soiled spot thoroughly with specialist product or bio washing powder solution). He will then follow the smell to the tray next time he needs to go.
