Sitting with my much loved cat as she seems to drift away from me. She doesn’t seem to be in pain, but is very lethargic, very old, and today seems to be struggling much more than usual, limping and finding corners to lie down. We’re keeping each other company, and I don’t know for certain this is it, just a gut feeling that she seems different. Just thought I’d see if anyone was around to keep us company.

Am here; hope you and your sweet girl are ok. She will know you are there and she is loved.

Thinking of you x

I'm sorry. Has she seen a vet? I'm afraid cats are notorious for hiding pain.

What's she doing now? Has she settled down? Pop her to the vet tomorrow and see what they think. It's very unsettling when they reach their twilight years.

Hand hold here as well. It’s so hard, they are such a huge part of our lives. Give her a gentle stroke from me Flowers

Thank you for your kind messages. Yes, she’s booked in to see the vet tomorrow morning. She’s settled down at the moment, but will only lie on the floor.

Can you make her a comfy bed on the floor? Will you sleep close by her tonight? Poor baby and poor you. Flowers

How is she? I agree keep her warm, comfy and close to you overnight.

She's lucky to have you there, she knows she's loved. Enjoy the time you have with her, lots of cuddles. We'll be thinking of you tomorrow.
