We moved house a couple of months ago. Since then our 3 year old cat is really reluctant to go outside. Prior to this, he was very much an outdoor cat. He would be out most nights and return in the morning to sleep all day. Lucky thing!
Now, although he will stand and look out the door, he doesn’t want to go out at all. We kept him in for the first 10 days and then he went out for a short amount of time but was very cautious. Then he went out one evening and didn’t return until almost 24 hours later. This is unlike him but he seemed fine when he got back. But now he won’t go out and seems really sad. We don’t have a cat flap so only goes out when we are here.
Sorry for massive post! Does anyone have any ideas of what I could do? Thanks
