So... Last night I came home to what I thought was a dead mouse, but on closer inspection discovered that it's back legs were broken/paralysed.. my cat loves to bring mice in, sometimes she kills them, sometimes I have to catch and release.
Ive not had one in-between... The cat had lost interest and didn't even go for it while I ran to get the mouse tub.
I released it but I don't think this was the kindest thing to do, as now it's either going to starve to death or another predator is going to get it. How does one dispatch of a poor mousey humanely?
