Vomiting worms after deworming

I'm a first time cat owner!

I noticed 5 days ago that my cat has worms, she's got a sensitive stomach so is prone to vomiting at the slightest inconvenience, which is why she's on special cat food which she loves and doesnt cause her issues.

So 5 days ago she vomited and I saw worms. I gave her a tablet (she definitely swallowed it). My vet said I would need to repeat in 3 weeks time to get rid of any lingering worms.

But today she's just vomited again and I see worms again 😣

Is it just that they are being cleared out her system or something? Now I'm worried but I know I can't deworm her again for another 2/3 weeks.

She seems fine and appetite normal.

Is this common?

Not common I don't think. Shitting worms is. Vomiting them is something I haven't come across. I doubt it's anything to worry about though. You can always give your vet a call tomorrow for advice.
