One of mine gets that exact thing.

Bugger then licks it until it bleeds.

Steroid injections keep on top of it. We take him to get one whenever he has a flare up, usually about once a year.

They look a bit like puncture wounds, but difficult to tell from the photo. Could she have been bitten by another cat?
If flea allergy a steroid jab sorts it out. Old girl had flea allergy but it looked like thickened, scabby, flakey skin, rather than red marks like that.

I had a cat that was allergic to fleas
A flea only had to look at her n she’d come out like that
So one bite and a mangy rash all over her body I had to keep v strict tabs on the avocat and use it strictly and check her constantly as she could brush against another cat with a flea
Antibiotics and steroids and she was fine
Maybe it’s that?

Hot spot of what the vet called wet eczema when had similar on a foster dog maybe? opportunistic skin infection that followed on most likely from a small scratch or the like; don't feel too bad, it's hard to see past all the fur and fluff to check skin issues, hope all fine quickly

It looks like a flea allergy. How do you treat her for fleas? Some methods are as good as useless.
