She's 14 and all of sudden she has slowed up. She has gone very still when she sleeps and considers carefully before jumping on the sofa . Any thoughts?

She could be in pain. Do you live in a cold climate? My vet recommends painkiller for cats over 5 years of age living in a cold climate, as the cold and damp affects their old bones. They do slow down a bit as they get older. Maybe a trip to the vet for a check up would be good for her.

No warm lap of luxury she is spoilt but the painkillers may be a good idea and the vet.

Arthritis maybe? Vets can give a quick check over for this, not too pricey compared to most tests
