After some very helpful advice regarding rehoming a new kitten, I am returning with photos as promised. We lost our elderly boys in October and August and although we hadn't planned on a new cat just yet, this lovely boy popped up on facebook and we couldn't resist him. Already, he is helping to ease the pain of losing them. So this is Neville, he was found up a tree so clearly an adventurer. We've not had a young cat before (he's 5-6 months old), as we took our boys in when they were 9 so a new experience for us. He is very playful and very affectionate and we adore him already.

<squeals> He is a beauty!! Lucky cat and lucky owners smile
I can't wait until we can have pets, Unfortunately Tenancy doesn't allow it.

Oh my. What a stunner!

Hello Neville! grin

He is very very beautiful -but you already know that. Have you let him outside yet?

I also lost a cat recently. He was coloured like Nev, but shorter haired. Neville looks to have have a bit of a ruff already, and he's more fluffy.

Oh my life.. he’s gorgeous OP!

Get him a Bolt Laser, build him a cardboard fort and give him a skooshy floofy munch from me.

Awww he is so cute xx

Thanks everyone, he is utterly gorgeous. Will definitely be getting him a laser, thanks YesItsMe.
Today has been rather frustrating as I am at work and just want to go home and see him. Roll on home time. Tomorrow, though I am not at work so will be all about him (well and I guess the children might need some attention!)
Sorry for your loss TheSpottedZebra He's not been outside yet as we only collected him yesterday and will be waiting a few weeks before letting him outside. He's confined to one room (plus another after the children go to bed) at the moment but we'll gradually give him more of the house to explore over the next week or so.

Nah, the kids can look after themselves. It’s all about the kitten!

Beautiful boy, I love the photo of him striding towards the camera! We lost our cat in August and I wanted a LONG break (years) before getting another. We pick up our rescue cat tomorrow! gringrin

We're not the only ones that can live without a furry friend then queenie! After we lost our last one I couldn't imagine having another. Couldn't face losing another one but I'm so glad we saw Neville. It is so lovely to have a cat in the house again.

A stunner!

gingerhousecat Mon 02-Oct-17 22:39:07

Awh! Lovely, makes me want a kitten! (Think my other two cats would have a hissy fit!)

Ojoj1974 Mon 02-Oct-17 22:45:14

He is divine. Fab name too

Sohurt17 Mon 02-Oct-17 23:11:25

OMG I love his white socks! Sooooo sweet 😻

QueenieMum Mon 02-Oct-17 23:34:02

The house was so quiet after we lost Bob and I soon realised that thinking of having another made me feel happy. I'm not replacing Bob, I'm giving another cat a loving home.

He looks amazing- those feet!

Ski37 Thu 05-Oct-17 19:25:52

Or I should say paws!
