The litter tray

Yay! She's grooming me & miaowing - only took 3 months!

Got two kittens beginning of July. The more timid one (who runs away from me in the day but cuddles closest at night) groomed me briefly last night, and instead of her usual silent miaow, did proper ones just now!

She has made up for the lack of miaow with a very loud purr. Her sister shouts at me all the time.

That's brilliant. It makes me feel so ridiculously proud of them when they do something like that. One of mine used to do the silent Miaow thing. It was brilliant when she found her voice.

Is that actually a real cat on the fridge or an Egyptian style statue of a cat?!! Both gorgeous.

The vet said Margo looked Egyptian the minute she saw her. She's black with very dark brown "ghost" stripes. I love the eay their personalities are developing. Margo gives me bites in the morning when she wants breakfast but she's very controlled and they don't hurt.

Barbara has incredibly soft fur and allows tummy rubs when she is relaxed.

Aaahhhh how lovely!! My rescue cat would panic and run every noise or person walking in the room, he only trusted me bless him and followed me everywhere - he hid behind the sofa for weeks but now, 10 years later he is happy to sprawl out over the floor and doesn't flinch if people step over him and will lovingly cuddle all of us even my husband!

We had a female cat years ago and she also did those controlled bites we nicknamed them 'Susie' bites and now, years after Susie died we still call them susie bites whichever cat is dishing them out lol

Also love your cat names Smile

I love people names for pets, Susie is lovely! My two are rescue kittens and follow me everywhere, if I need a wee at 3am & they are snoring when I slip out of bed, they still manage to be outside the bathroom door when I come out!

My one year old lad kitty treats me with disdain and tends to prefer my partner over me. However DP has had to go away for a few days and besides a few snack breaks, kitty stayed with me all night last night. Like he was looking after me while dp not here Smile

And people think cats are not affectionate...they definitely are.

My two are both rescues. They both follow me around the house. One of them waits outside the bathroom when I'm in the shower, then escorts me back to my bedroom. I think she thinks I'll get lost. All of my childhood cats were non vocal, so it's lovely to have Cats that talk to me.

Well Dolly shouts and screams at me I don't know if I like it or not! What does it mean?? The other ones a mute.

They are gorgeous. I try to remember everyone's stories are you the one whose bf was horrible and you were just about to get a kitten? There was a kitten thread I've lost it now.

They are gorgeous your girls. My Dolly doesn't like me approaching her either. She does sleep with me though and is eating me out of house and home.

I bet they are a very full distraction! Do they snuggle with each other?

Whiskey yes well spotted! They sleep together about half the time, it's so sweet. But poor Barbara is limping this evening - she nurses her front paw to go to sleep and I think shes overdone it.

My calico cat Euphrasie has never miaowed. She is silent apart from when she sees a bird and then she shouts "ack ack ack". I have never had a silent cat before. She even purrs silently.

No limp today. I had an early start for a 350 mile round trip for work and they were v confused. They are exploring the wardrobe while I get ready for bed. Barbara keeps flaunting her fluffy tail for Margo to attack.
