The litter tray

Is Pets at Home ever good value?

I went in with my granny trolley for a bag of litter worlds best £23 and £16 on Amazon prime coming tomorrow! I ended up buying a cat tree I don't need but it was so pretty one of you lot have it with the dangling strawberrys, some fancy air freshener and a load of Science Plan as it was 3 for 2 and I don't even know if it's good for them or not I was just hoping it Destructive Dolly would like it over the Felix she craves. Then to counteract the posh food I bought Wiskas Temptations as they were on offer and another one of you lot said the love them. So that's £68 on nothing unneeded. I'm surprised I never bought a bunny rabbit. Seriously though it's not cheap is it?

I think it's reasonable value for quite a lot of things - except tins of cat food. Their 30L bags of wood pellet litter are a steal at £5 something. Unless it's on special offer you're always going to find cheaper stuff on line (apart from the wood litter) though as that's just the way of the world.

I don't know really. The mainstream cat foods they do always seem to be on offer in the supermarkets.theres never hardly anyone in my PAH

I use them for the own brand wood pellet litter, the 30l bags are often on an even cheaper offer if you buy 3 at a time so I get that delivered (Arthritis won't let me lug a bag that heavy into & out of the car without loads of pain) & it lasts me MONTHS. I tend to get some food delivered at the same time so no delivery costs, but otherwise I just stick to Zooplus for food & Amazon for toys, the tree etc.

I find ZooPlus is a lot better value for cat food. I buy toys/cat trees etc. from B&M or Home Bargains - they basically sell the same stuff for half the price!

I don't really shop in Pets at Home.

They're ridiculously expensive for everything I buy. Cat's best litter; they don't stock the science plan Calm food and their Feliway is £28 when I can get it for £14 delivered from Amazon.

I find them better value than the vets for Hills special diets. About 50p cheaper per tin!
I do have to order online as it's not stocked in the shop.

Is hills science plan decent food for the average cat/kitten? Its three for two and mine really like it but its not got a great meat content in it.
