Currently in the middle of making arrangements to meet - he's a breed rescue - and yet to check over the house for 'breakability' issues etc. (He's only young - and it's a good few years since I had a cat that could potentially leap living with me.)

I've been waiting for this post! I take it he's a Siamese rescue?

I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures!

How very exciting...

cozietoesie Tue 04-Jul-17 14:49:16

Indeed he is, Pink. But he's only 3! shock I'll have to rethink a lot of things.

Ooooooo can't wait for the pictures! Congratulations.

< Dreams of a cat that can't leap!>

Ooh! Lovely! I hope it goes well. May you both start a lovely new chapter together.

HemanOrSheRa Tue 04-Jul-17 14:53:11

Eek! How exciting smile. Lucky kitty. If I was a cat I'd like you to be my Mummy smile.

RubbishMantra Tue 04-Jul-17 14:55:17

Ooh Cozie, exciting times. A proper spring chicken! Lucky boy, coming to live with such a kind person.

cozietoesie Tue 04-Jul-17 14:55:38

I recall having to rescue Seniorboy from the top of a door but that was over 5 years ago when he was only about 17. Since then, he rather lost the inclination and I may have become .........lazy about such matters. wink

EachandEveryone Tue 04-Jul-17 15:01:44

Aw i feel all emotional reading this. How exiting. Is he local?

FizzyBanger Tue 04-Jul-17 15:01:51

What lovely news! Here's to a long and happy future with Newboy smile

Botanicbaby Tue 04-Jul-17 15:03:53

Aw cozie I have been wondering how you've been doing without your boy, really glad to hear that a new kitty will benefit from a new forever home/person. Best of luck.

Newboy will soon have you learning the ropes again, don't worry about thatsmile

cozietoesie Tue 04-Jul-17 15:06:01

Lordy, I surely hope so. I'm becoming nervous.

cozietoesie Tue 04-Jul-17 15:07:14

'Sort of' local, Each. (I.e. I don't have to engage carriers etc.)

Vinorosso74 Tue 04-Jul-17 16:37:01

Wonderful! I look forward to hearing about his exploits!

Wolfiefan Tue 04-Jul-17 16:38:10

And there will be carnage of a kind only a Siamese can wreak! grin

cozietoesie Tue 04-Jul-17 16:39:20

Please No. grin

cozietoesie Tue 04-Jul-17 16:40:19

Although I guess he may turn out to be a mouser. And this is an old house...........

EachandEveryone Tue 04-Jul-17 16:40:20

Have you met him before?

cozietoesie Tue 04-Jul-17 16:40:33

Wolfiefan Tue 04-Jul-17 16:40:59

You love it really. Siamese are my dream cat. I grew up with Burmese. Total law unto themselves. Never a day goes past when they don't make you smile and swear just a little bit too! grin

cozietoesie Tue 04-Jul-17 16:44:16

My very first cat was a Siamese so I was trained young. smile

MaidenMotherCrone Tue 04-Jul-17 16:45:07

Oh Cosie that's lovely news. I imagine somewhere Seniorboy is giving the soft eyed nod of approval.

I feel quite emotional, hopefully one day I'll feel ready to offer a home in Kenneth's honour. Not there yet😞

Ollivander84 Tue 04-Jul-17 16:48:13

Siamese? Hahahaha grin pictures please once the carnage chatting and wailing and demanding attention has finished

Polter Tue 04-Jul-17 17:01:53
