To help ease the pain of losing our beloved boy we are taking on this little chap but at a loss for a name. Help us wise ones.

Slimthistime · 25/06/2017 22:31

It's kind of irrelevant because I'm going to steal him Grin

Like all the names but also, Marmalade?
Lord Marmalade!

acatcalledjohn · 25/06/2017 22:33

He's gorgeous!

He looks like a Fred or Freddie to me.

Justmadeperfectflapjacks · 25/06/2017 22:34

Fudge

TheSpottedZebra · 25/06/2017 22:35

Dave. Stripey Dave.

What kind of names do you like? Human ones, descriptive ones, posh ones, irreverent ones?

TheSpottedZebra · 25/06/2017 22:37

He's very beautiful by the way. I have an orange stripey cat. He's not called Dave though.
He wishes he was.

LaurieFairyCake · 25/06/2017 22:37

Sunset
Sovereign

superbaghag · 25/06/2017 23:00

We've never had a human name but we aren't opposed to it. I'm really stumped which is unusual as I've always found cats sort of name themselves

Goose

pieceofpurplesky · 25/06/2017 23:08

He is so cute. Look at that squidgy nose.

Ed. After sheeran.
Bear (seems popular at the moment)

Icequeen01 · 25/06/2017 23:24

Bo! I have always wanted to call one of my cats Bo. I was out voted with my current two long haired gingers and they are called Archie and Angus!

Icequeen01 · 25/06/2017 23:25

Sorry, also meant to say your new kitten is simply gorgeous!

OneOrgasmicBirthPlease · 25/06/2017 23:32

He is too lovely for words.

Ruperto Morek. I once knew a cat named Ruperto Morek who hunted venomous snakes in the Amazon in the mornings and spent his evenings purring on your lap.

LegArmpits · 25/06/2017 23:47

Tormund.Grin

Ollivander84 · 26/06/2017 00:11

Midge
Was going to second marmaduke too

CremeFresh · 26/06/2017 00:23

Garfield?

My DD is picking up her ginger kitten soon , she's called him Jeffrey .

Loopy567 · 26/06/2017 00:26

Another vote for Rufus -after William II. Or William. My parents had a ginger cat called William and he was quite a character by all account. We also had Rufus and he was a darling little fellow. He is gorgeous fellow.

Thanks all. Interesting you've suggested a lot of names already in use in our household for people and other pets. One of my children has suggested Twix and another Norman.

Will let you know what we settle on but it also likes we are taking a second one too.
