The litter tray

Kitten not toileted today yet? New arrival (with pics!)

Hi all,

We collected our gorgeous kitten today. She seems happy, playful, eating/drinking well and settling well but she has been here since around 1pm and not been to the toilet at all yet. She has stepped into her litter tray but nothing? Is this normal?!

Thanks x

She's been.

You'll find it. Somewhere.

My cat's kittens once shat in my work bag. I work in healthcare...

She might have give somewhere....hunt about

Or she might be waiting until it's quieter

I got a puppy two weeks ago and it shocks me how long she can hold her bowel and bladder for.

One if mine was like that too the first night. They didn't do it anywhere else either (well we never found anything!). Have you put her in the litter ? Is she ok with the texture?

Pretty sure she hasn't as we have been with her most of the time. She seems ok in the litter and same brand breeder used. It has been busy and when she comes near tray I've been trying to get my daughter to leave her be - she may go this eve now little one is asleep

What a cutie! Mine didn't go much (if at all) the first day I had her. I slept with her in the lounge that first night and regularly picker her up and put her on the litter tray, but I just got a look of disgust and a "I'm too busy and don't need to go" look! She did go, eventually, she just took a while. (And she wasn't nervy, if fact, on arriving home she did one lap of the lounge then curled up asleep on 'her' sofa like she owned the place already!)

Mine were the same.. one poo-ed after about 24 hours, the other a day later... it's all strange and new (I'm the same when staying at other houses Grin)

She will be fine..and will go eventually!

She just had a wee after we again placed her on the tray! Hurrah! Nothing else so far...

She is very cute and so playful!

Have no advice, but read there were pictures. I can't resist a cute kitten picture. He's so adorable.
I bet your little one is absolutely thrilled to bits with him.

Keep putting her in and pick her paw up and drag it back through the litter so she knows what to do

Success! She started using her tray late last night and has been today. Hurrah!

She's doing so well and settling brilliantly at the mo, fingers crossed.
