I've just invested in some clippers so I don't have to keep taking Fatty cat to the vets for them to get rid of them. After they didn't get rid of The ones I wanted when she was under anaesthetic. I suspect I may meet with a sudden death. grin

It already looks like you're in trouble shock
Good luck!

Uh oh Toddler grin.

YetAnotherSpartacus Fri 07-Apr-17 14:25:41

Did they come with chain mail gloves?

YesItsMeIDontCare Fri 07-Apr-17 14:27:33

Awww sad

It's been nice knowing you too. Any final requests? Anything left on your Bucket List you need to do before you start?

The death stare purrfected. .

Reow Fri 07-Apr-17 14:31:01

Ha! Good luck with that.

That cat is ready for you, look at those eyes.

If only I could get her to understand it's for her own good and will save a trip to the V.E.T. She behaves beautifully for them.

Toddlerteaplease Fri 07-Apr-17 14:38:41

Altars from the odd wee on the sofa, she's so well behaved it's unbelievable!

UnbornMortificado Fri 07-Apr-17 14:39:37

That cat does not look amused.

I hope your will is up to date and your last wishes known.

Mmmmmmm ... Like 'who will feed the cat?"

grin

Unborn, just laughed out loud at that!

Weedsnseeds1 Fri 07-Apr-17 16:22:55

She might surprise you. Old cat would allow clipping and she was vicious! Don't forget to oil the clippers so they don't pinch, and be prepared for an outcome along the lines of the Specsavers sheepdog on your first attempt!

Toddlerteaplease Fri 07-Apr-17 16:57:00

I couldn't get them to clip. So she's not very happy with Me. Though they are human ones not animal ones.

Weedsnseeds1 Fri 07-Apr-17 21:35:23

Don't put the attachment on, just use the metal of the actual clippers and part fur to the side of the matt before starting. Mine are human ones. Ironically OH clippers for his hair were given to him by his vet supply rep friend.

Toddlerteaplease Fri 07-Apr-17 21:36:30

That's what I did. But trying to do it one handed with a very wriggly cat was quite difficult! Think I'll stick to the vet.

Her Majesty is Not Amused grin

coxsorangepippin Fri 07-Apr-17 21:43:46

Pippincat hated clippers but didn't mind me gluing those plastic 'soft paws' things on.
By the time he worked out how to chew the plastic things off (which took at least a year) he was used to me fiddling with his feet and would accept the clippers
