......will one day falter.

I'm afraid that Seniorboy died late this afternoon. At the vet's. I have some very very fine whisky waiting to salute him with and I am just going to go and light a candle for him. I probably won't be around for a few days - or if I am, you'll have to bear with some rather tipsy posting.

My Darling old lad.

TroysMammy · 29/03/2017 17:54

I'm so sorry. It will be strange not hearing about him but I hope he will be mentioned from time to time. They may no longer be with us but they live within us and will never be forgotten. Flowers

BagelGoesWalking · 29/03/2017 17:56

Oh cozie, I'm so sorry to hear the sad news. He sounded like such a lovely character and I have enjoyed hearing about him. Bless him, he did well to get to such an age and he must have loved his years with you.

Thank you everybody. I've opened the whisky and lit the candle. Tomorrow, .I shall have to be all calm and 'paterfamilias' as the family emote all over the lansdscape - as long as Seniorboy was alive, him being my mother's cat before mine, my parents weren't really dead in some sort of way. Now that he's gone, they will be. The family youngsters have never known a time without him around in fact.

Tonight, though, I'll just mourn my Darling lad.

Oh no! So sorry. How old was he?

cozietoesie · 29/03/2017 18:11

22.3, vitamin. (I feel the need to credit him with the 3 months.) It was a grand age for a little Siamese.
