First stage labour, lots of skin twitching and discomfort and thinking she needs to mate. Shall we try for a live birth thread?

Not placemarking for cute kitten photos at all!!!!!
Do you know how many kittens she's going to have?!

WingsAloft · 09/03/2017 09:47

I think only one or two. Her belly's really little.

It's heading for 8pm here and I'm already sleep deprived. I'll need this thread to keep myself from crashing overnight. I make no promises about timing though - first stage labour in a first-timer can take up to 36 hours.

No action yet, just more contractions to annoy her. They're making her cough at the moment. Must be irritating her diaphragm.

She is a shameless little hussy, is what she is. I wish I could show you all what she's doing right now. Suffice to say my son's shoe is getting some hard lovin' Grin

She's definitely going to be one to watch very very carefully once she's had the kits! (Over the hills and far away if you leave something open.) Wink

What a pretty girl. She does look a bit slutty actually, in the eyes.

No babies yet?

Report
WingsAloft · 09/03/2017 21:36

No kittens. One very very restless, very meowy cat who has worked out how the handle on my door works and is trying to let herself out of my room.

Place marking. Have a couple of kittens of our own at the moment, although they are getting quite big now. Exciting to be waiting for some kitties.

WingsAloft · 09/03/2017 22:06

No, that's why she's in my room. I've let my boy in to keep her company which seems to have settled her down a bit.
