URGENT RECALL OF DRIED CAT FOOD FROM PETS AT HOME!

Sorry to shout but the following have been recalled from pets at home

The brands are AVA Mature Cat Chicken (2kg), AVA Mature Cat Chicken (4kg), AVA Senior Cat Chicken 2kg, and AVA Adult Cat Neutered Indoor (1.5kg).

It is making cats seriously unwell and causing them to fit.

I'm not 100% sure but I think it has something to do with vitamin B.

I know my cat is currently halfway through a large packet of this stuff. Need to check which exact one. She's been absolutely fine though.

It is low in thiamine and causing problems.

Right I've just looked and I've got the Optimum Health version. I assume that's ok?

I have the same one as sleep, I will be returning it in the morning, I just came onto mumsnet to see if anyone had posted about this and what alternate foods to feed her as this is the only brand I've ever used and now don't trust it. Thank you for posting this.
