Zara's head massage

Sometimes Zara needs to de-stress from her difficult life of being absurdly spoiled, fed on the finest pure meats, relaxing on fleeces in front of radiators turned on for her benefit or on her own duvet shelf in the airing cupboard, and living in a house full of cat trees, cat toys and a secured outside area.

Poor cat. What a rough life! Grin

To listen to her meows you would certainly think she has a rough life. She has perfected a particular plaintive mew which she employs for food and treats (specifically Gourmet Perle Fisherman's Selection, which isn't particularly good quality but I allow it sometimes). It's piercing, and she stares directly into my eyes in an accusatory fashion as she does it. Inexplicably, it makes me wracked with guilt.

Ernie loves his cheeks being massaged/rubbed. I have to hold my hand in a certain way and he will close his paws over them and pull in close

Zara is very fortunate!

One of my kitties likes to massage my head especially when it's sweaty after the gym Hmm She goes into a sort of trance, it must be the pheromones from my sweat? Shock

Surely this is just what all our cat masters deserve?! I want Ernie to cuddle my hand like that, so cute.

It's to relieve the stress of living with Bibi.

That is an awesome pic of Ernie Grin. IDK, their relationship is quite mysterious to me. Like, they never fight, ever, except in our old house if a third cat came into the garden and freaked them out. They're happy to share space but only occasionally show each other explicit affection - e.g. Zara will groom Bibi a bit if Bibi comes in on her grooming session. And yet, Bibi is undeniably the boss. They just have subtle ways of communicating it, like Bibi gets first dibs on the coveted good pillow (I have the crap pillow) and if she moves off it Zara goes on.
