I was at Pets at Home today looking at the bunnies and i swear if they sold kittens i woukdve got one. I had my beautiful girl given to me when she was 8 weeks shes 8 months now and ive always regretted not taking a sibling. Ive looked at the charities and they wouldnt consider someone living in a flat in an urban area. I feel sorry for my girl not having the company and really i can afford another one but, where would i get one? I wouldnt pass a suitability test.

CHAT (Celia Hammonds) have lots of flat cats. We would certainly home to a flat. The problem is if you have a balcony. Even if you do though, as long as you are prepared to cat proof it and you seem sensible that would be fine.

If you're in London come to us. If you're not look at //www.chatcat.org for smaller rescues with more flexible rules.

There are two 18 year old needing a home on the thread below this. They would be fine in a flat. Just saying ...

I can't take two just one. I have a balcony but it is open my girl just ventures out for 30 minutes and comes back in. She's no trouble never clawed at furniture or ran up the chimney or curtains I just feel she's missing company. She loves the boys next door but they've started swatting her away now and she gets left out. I'm such sloppy bag she probably doesn't care but I can afford it however I am in a one bedroomed flat so they would have to share.

So it would need to be a flat cat with a view to popping out in if they needed to maybe i should get a kitten again would an 8 month girl accept one though?

Maybe she's quite happy as a singleton? Many of them are.
