Inflatable collar for after spay?

Will one of these prevent her getting to her stitches as effectively as a traditional cone? She flings herself around like a mad thing so am a bit worried she'll hurt herself or cause mass destruction with a plastic cone but want to make sure she can't get at her stitches. She goes in next thursday, I'm a total wuss and really dreading it Sad

I got one for my girl when she had a nose job. But it was too small. So she had a very small cone. Took that off as it was distressing her. I've seen baby shirts used as an alternative or a baby grow with the legs cut off.

I've only had one cat that wasn't pre-spayed / neutered, but I can't remember using anything on her when I got her done. She seemed to leave the wound alone and it heals a lot quicker than you think it will. You may not need anything. Has the vet given any advice?

Wouldn't she pop it with her claws though? When scratching?
