Goodbye tiny cat

We had to have our female cat put to sleep today. She'd deteriorated very quickly and was losing weight rapidly. She was my little furry buddy in the middle of a busy and stressful life. She made it to 16 which is a fine age. She survived having her jaw broken by a cyclist years ago. I feel utterly heartbroken. I have a couple of hours to wallow then the DCs will be back and I have to get on with stuff. She was always ready for a cuddle and it often felt like she was the only one who gave much more than she took
