Merry Christmas to all you lovely people on The Litter Tray! Thank you for all the advice you've given me in 2016, it's not been a good year for my boy and the support I've had on here has been amazing.

Merry Christmas and thank you

Lovely photo, I hope 2017 is a better year for him.
Merry Christmas to all both human and feline! Vinocat is spending Christmas in the cattery but I don't think she's a fan of Christmas judging by this photo.

Merry Christmas and thank you

Merry Xmas to all from the Birthday Boy. Seniorboy's official birthday is on 25 December (it's a long story) so he's just turned 22. Smile

This is truly a remarkable day.

Self and Mr C waited up till 1201 last night to send birthday love, and Mr C is now hiccuping away in tribute. Someone broke into the Prosecco this am and it wasn't me. But that's ok, he knows it's a really, really special day and has been eating nothing but his favourite food since midnight.

Seniorboy thanks you all and wishes a very merry one. Smile He's been downstairs and wandered among the assembled multitude. Magisterially. Grin

I'm ignoring Christmas entirely and googling 'Guinness Book of Cat records'.

An English tabby called Nutmeg - shown in the Express with elderly, exhausted, poor, beaming humans - is 30. Nutmeg has his own bedroom, and lives on cream and fresh roast chicken. Mr and Mrs Finlay, who are retired, said: "We have ruined him over the years. We always say we are his humans, rather than he is our cat."

In the pictures Nutmeg is scowling at the besotted Finlays. They say his meow sounds 'like a growl'. He curls his lip at the camera and is described as 'a little bit grumpy' Grin

Can't help thinking if little Nutmeg's temperament has any connections to his longevity, the only person I'm thinking about is Fluffy's DH. That article may not be ideal Xmas reading for the uniquely spirited ASBO.

He went back to bed, Fluffy. After having an extensive poo - which may or may not have been a comment on the assembled family. Grin

(Sadly, he also had a large and out of sequence pee. Fingers crossed that it's not significant. )

Just a comment on the lack of glittery yet soft litter provided?
Hoping he's ok.

LanaorAna1 · 25/12/2016 16:14

He's probably a bit discombobulated by the masses of assembled family, C, hence the rogue wee - anyway, a good long pee is always nice and calming. Some ABS make you go as well.

Mr C always evacuates as loudly as poss when he wants guests to go home. Flamboyant sighing and snuffing in his tray, shoals of flying gravel, pointedly loud scratching, etc.

I hope so. Lana. Unfortunately, when you get to that age, something is going to give.

He's had a good Xmas Day anyway. Smile
