Is it just us that gets pinned to the settee by cats?

Kitten is asleep on me, big cat asleep on dh, which never happens.

Our tummies are growling, but neither of us wants to ruin this lovely moment.

30 minutes and counting.

Hah. I am lying on the right hand side of the bed. That is 'part of me' is grimly clinging on to a small patch - my legs are dangling over the side, freezing cold. Seniorboy, meanwhile, is lying blissfully stretched out on his electric blanket, completely warm and toasty. Grin

I get this with the more timid of my cats. We have special bonding time together. If I allowed the other one to pin me I'd never get up. She's taken to walking on my face in the night, I'm going to have to do something about it soon.

Lucy only comes for a long lap cuddle when you need a wee. The look of disdain on her face when you finally realise you can't hold it any more and tip her off your lap is something to behold

I get a cat on both sides on top of the duvetpinning me into bed. Feel so guilty making them move. Woke up this morning to both girls curled up next to me and next to each other. This is unheard of!

Yup, the duvet pinning, one on each side. MCat can get a bit tantrummy if I dare move, but little M will just kind of roll over and not even wake up, (Devons are very heavy sleepers). He does the standing on the face trick when he's cold and wants to get under the covers.

Standard refrain in our house is 'I can't get up, I've got a cat on me...'
