Kittens needing cool names!

Hi all,

We have rehomed a pair of kittens and are bringing them home next week.

We have a tabby and white male and a black and white female.

My DS is 5 and has decided he would like to call them both Mittens or Mavis and Dennis.

I think we can probably do better than that! I would love to hear your suggestions, please!

Awww .... Let your DS choose the names. What does it matter.... For what it's worth we have hens named Agnetha, Bey, Madonna, Lianne and Taylor. Our next batch are going to be called Jigglypuff, Eevie, Pikachu etc

I'm amazed you need more ideas when you already have Mavis and Dennis. These are the true names of your new cats
your DS is clearly a genius, a truly gifted child

I love the name Moses (especially if you have a Northern accent) for a boy, but when we met him, it wasn't the right name for him.

I like the old fashioned names like Maude, Charlotte and Audrey for girl cats.

Or Maude and Claude?

I always apply the rule that any 'old person' name will do. Dennis and Mavis fit the hill perfectly.

Can't be doing with Fluffy etc. My ex-BF called his cat Holly. It put me right off him for some reason.

Mavis and Dennis are awesome cat names. There's a cat on Instagram called megatron which I also think is very cool. I wish I'd thought of it first.

If DD had got to choose PreciousPussGirl's name it would have been FluffyBunnikins or similar
