Right...we are rescuing a wee abandoned kitten! She is only 4wks old. And so gorgeous! We are all beyond excited! And scared!

We havent had cats since we were children ourselves! What do we need?!!! And what do we do?!!! And how do you toilet train?

We have 3 DC (12, 10 & 7) and a rather mad 5yr old Labrador

Thanks for all advice!

HELP!

Sorry no experience but is there any advice on the Cats Protection website? Or icatcare.org. Sorry my phone isn't letting me paste links.
Kitten is gorgeous!

Also have a look on youtube, there will be videos on there.

She wont be able to poo/wee without stimulation of her bum and pee hole, mum cat would usually do that. You can mimic this with a damp flannel. This is really important, otherwise she won't excrete, which will make her extremely ill.

Have you taken her to the vet? They will be able to give you some good advice.

She is currently at the vets as she still doesn't know how to drink bless her. Apparently mummy cat was run over and killed and her owner couldn't cope with 4 kittens who were only 2wks old. So we probably have a wk to get sorted!

Have a read of this. 🙂

Don't panic. My own Oneago and his litter brother were raised more or less from birth by their breeder and he was just fine - forbye he was probably a little quieter than most Siamese.
