Whiskers creamy soup.....

Any thoughts? I've had a couple of pouches free and MOG (miserable old git) has wolfed it down....
However, tonight he shoved his head under while I was squeezing the pouch into the bowl and his face looked like an explosion in a snot factory...... It truly looks (and smells, if I'm honest) revolting so I was wondering if others have tried it. (This is a supplement to his usual Felix 'as good as it looks' meat.)

Girl cat 1 gets fed this as she really doesn't eat the meat wet food, only licks the jelly off.

So I bought some and she goes nuts for it. I know it looks like a bowl of sick but she seemingly thinks it's a combination of fresh chicken and catnip judging by her face when I put it down :o

Boy cat eats the bits she leaves (after eating his own food)

Girl cat 3 may end up having his as she has a few teeth missing and she doesn't even crunch her biscuits, just sort of inhales them. She ends up knocking her wet food everywhere trying to eat it as well. Bless her, she's still hiding under DD's bed two weeks after we brought her home.

Girl cat 2 won't eat anything wet. She's weird.

The inhaling it sounds like what he did tonight!
Still if he eats it (he's old and thin), that's a good thing as long as he doesn't do horrendous shits in his tray overnight.

I got some of this for my (then) ill 20yo after I saw a thread AnyFucker posted expressing Hmm at the concept.

Oh my Lord she loves it - absolutely hoovers it up - and in fact managed to put on 250g in a week Grin I think I actually prefer the look of it to the LickyLix things, which just look like diarrhoea.

Could Whiskas have put the Dreamies crack cocaine stuff in it? Seems they are definitely onto a winner and for older cats who don't eat very well, it must be great that they are finally interested in something.

Local Asda had sold out of it last week so we are down to two sachets but hopefully will have some back in when I shop this week.

Nine of mine would touch it. Even greedy dog had one lick then walked away.

He's still getting the odd pouch here and there - and eating the lot in one go.... Smile

I just tried mine (as a supplement) on the Animonda Rafiné Soupé.

They hated the one with Turkey & Lamb in a creamy yogurt sauce. Perhaps because I didn't serve pitta bread on the side? Loved the other flavours though, especially the Beef & Pasta in Tomato sauce and Salmon & Shrimps in a herb sauce. Ate the Poultry & Beef in cheese sauce, but with less enthusiasm.

This time of year I'm being a tad indulgent, to ensure they have enough water in their system, and Gourmet Soup goes down well here. Rinse the pouch out with a little bit of water, and stir that in.

*...luckily neither of my boys seem to be wheat/grain intolerant, unless semolina doesn't count? (Re, the tomato, beef pasta one).

Had a couple of samples in post. Dcat does not like wet food and turned his nose up at these as well. He does though adore gormet cat soup and licks the bowl clean. I do not buy it very often but he's on antibiotics and pain relief at the moment (silly boy lost a fight and fractured his paw recently) and I use this to get his medicine down him

Why don't I get free samples in the post! Angry Grin

All I get is take-away menus!

Rubbish - mine came via Tesco where I normally buy Dcats food so I think it depends on your shopping habits.

Got samples in post from Tesco too.
I genuinely almost threw up putting this out Envy (not envy)
BrokenCat enjoyed it at first, didn't eat it all though. Probably a bit too rich. Or she has taste.

I buy the 6 packs of Butchers and their Dreamies from Tesco, redredwine rest of their supplies from Zooplus.

Maybe it's because I don't buy Whiskas products?
