Wwyd- emergency clinic

One of my boys has been off colour for about 5 days, assumed he has eaten something a bit dodgy as he is an avid hunter, he's been off his food and has had a dicky Tum and just not his usual chirpy self. Making a fuss of him last night I felt a huge crusty scab on his tail which feels as though he has been bitten by another cat/ small dog. Question is if it were you would you visit an emergency clinic today or wait until tomorrow ? My concern is I know how nasty cat bites can turn and I would worry about it going septic.

You don't make him sound very bad. He's managed ok this long, I would wait until tomorrow or book in on Tuesday (and avoid horrendous charges).

He isn't too bad, just not himself, he has eaten this morning, all be it not much, but he is eating, been out to do his business and come back in to sleep. We have two emergency clinics here today, one this evening so I think I'll see how he goes. The scab isn't oozing or smelling putrid yet either.

It sounds like an infected bite wound. But if he's eating and seems ok in himself he should be ok until tomorrow.
