Name changed but help!

We have had two little girl kittens for a month now but still don't have names!

DS calls them Stripey & Blackey but we need cute little names for them! DS is against all my ideas! To be fair it took me nine months to think of DS's name!

Do you want cat names or human names? I tend to do cat names for girls and human names for boys!

I like Edna.. But then I also want a new boy cat so I can call him Pedro..

Missy would be nice for the more dominant one. Maybe Shadow or Jet for the black one?

I'd totally go with Edna and Jemima though.

I love human names for cats. We initially thought they were boys & called them Catt Damon & Morgan Fleaman. But too hard for DS to pronounce & a bit embarrassing at the vets.

The tabby is very affectionate & the black kitten is bonkers!

My last three female cats were called Persephone, Lilith and Mrs Slocombe.
Sharon and Tracy are strong candidates for any future cats.

Oh lordy! They are cute. And they have a little house Grin! I like Jemima too. How old is DS? How about Star for the black one and Stripe for the tabby? Or just cute and cuter? You'll never call them by their proper names anyway!

They look like Ebony and Tabitha to me.

Oooo good suggestions! DS is nearly 4 but is so stubborn yet equally indecisive. So far they've been called Rosie, Dave, Afe, Ace, Milk Socks, Poo and Jujubear (?).

For insurance purposes they are Dashi & Tweak but according to DS that's an abomination.

We have a black cat who was already named and too old to change. But the next black cat we have is to be called Ninja winja or Lord Darth shadow warrior. Just putting those suggestions out there.

Oh don't worry about the names being called out at the vets. Our newest edition is called Mr Frankie Knuckles.

Betty and Wilma?

Don't choose paired names, like Sausage and Mash. If one gets left its name sounds silly.
My suggestion: Ethel and Percy.

Ha I am running all these ideas past DS! His favourite had to be poo & wee. He also likes the idea of "fire" and "help" (FFS Fireman Sam). I am NOT shouting that out the back door to bring them in at night, the neighbours will think I'm an attention seeker.

I like old Hollywood names for cats...mine have been Nancy (Sinatra), Mia (Farrow) and Chester.

How about old lady/grandad names...Pearl and Stanley? Iris and Bob?
