Flea spot on and toddlers

I used spot on treatment on my 2 kittens last night and I'm worried about my toddler being around them. Is it toxic if she strokes them and puts her hands in her mouth or if the cats rub against the furniture?

As much as I tried to get it directly on their skin some still ended up on their first which has made it look glossy.

I was wondering the same thing as I flea treated my girls yesterday and they are so fluffy it did run into their hair. I was worried about stroking them as I'm a terrible nail biter. Sorry I don't have an answer.

I don't know know whether I'm worrying unnecessarily but I get a bit anxious about these things!

Depending on which product you use it is safe for touching between 2-12 hours after application. I always advise owners to treat pet once toddler is in bed and by the morning it will be fine.
