The litter tray

Shutting cat in

Hi we are going away this weekend 3 nights 4 days. Our cat is normally allowed to come and go during the day as he pleases. Our neighbour will be feeding him. He has recently started bringing home dead shrews. So we think it might be better to lock the cat flap while we are away so we don't come home to lots of presents and just keep the cat inside. Do you think this will be ok? Really don't want to ask the neighbour to check each room for presents each time they are in.

I would definitely do that, just make sure you leave two clean litter trays for him.
