My children are here.
He was a rescue at 4 months old having been abused as a kitten.
He was incredibly nervous and timid at the start and still was at the end but had become so loving and trusting and he and I seemed to have this special bond. He was my shadow.
He had a serious heart problem that was getting worse and probably lived longer than he should have.

I can't believe he has gone. I loved him to the moon and back. I think he had a happy life with us. He was cherished for the special little person he was.
No more animals for me.
Just can't keep doing this.

So sorry and Thanksfor you. I also have a rescue cat, like yours she was very nervous when I first got her, she's an old girl of 18 now, when she finally goes I will know she's had a long happy life compared to how things could have been. Hopefully that might be a little bit of comfort for you when you're over the initial heartbreak
Thinking of you.

It sounds like you adored each other, you must have taken really good care of him to keep him going through a heart condition.

Oh I'm afraid that you can keep doing this and you probably will - although not at the moment, likely.

For myself, that cat shaped hole is just too big in the house and although I used to say 'Never Again', I don't bother with those words any more. It's just a question of the right one arriving and when.

Your boy sounds very loving and loved.

So sorry to hear that. Be happy that he knew love after his terrible start. His life might have been so much worse if it weren't for you.

Have a hug from me. x

Thank you for your kind words. I am glad he went on his own rather than having to go through the dreadful process of having him PTS.

Flowers

I know how you feel and there are no words.

I had a CuddleClone made of my boy, could that be a possibility for you? He has made it easier for me.
