I live in a garden flat and in the street behind me there are cats who must be a year old now... There were some new build houses, a couple with a child bought one and they got 2 female kittens who are now about a year.
They're small but seem fed, but are out all the time, late at night and they have no cat flap. I've seen them shut the door on one of the cats when it tried to enter their front door eg not let it in. I think their child has got tired of them. They're very friendly cats.
Anyway their house is up for sale now and I was wondering - would it be really insensitive to ask if they wanted their cats and if not we can rehome? I could take one or a neighbour with 2 girls would like them.
Or is this really rude?
