My beautiful, affectionate Tom cat who is neutered hasn't been home since Monday night but I saw him on our drive this morning and he ran away.
Spotted him later under a car and he fled. No weight loss but looked scared.
We were away this weekend for the Glasgow bank holiday and Lovely neighbour fed him and our other 2 femal cats. He is the boss of the house!
We packed away the garden furniture on Monday night but neighbour saw him all weekend. Bowls full of food so he not sneaking in
Anyone any ideas? Am worried.

Sounds like something's 'spoked' him. Could it be connected with going away?
Try and coax him with dreamies.

Hi he has been home twice to eat and bolted straight away and not home for 24 hours now. He looks v healthy.
We adopted a small female cat in June called grace as she was miserable at mil house because of dogs. My tom cat didn't seem to care but wondering if his nose pit of joint over new cat??

I don't think cats remember anything more than a week ago, June was months ago. I think he didn't like your neighbour, maybe?

My young male cat also really does not like my neighbour feeding him (neighbour is lovely & has 3 cats so is very used to cat antics). My boy has disappeared in the past when we've been away (neighbour says food left untouched) and has been very skittish after our return. He has always come back in the end though - I think he is just very sensitive to changes to his routine. I hope your boy comes back.

Hi everyone - he has been back to eat and then leaves straight away. Woke up on Saturday to find him on my bed!
My mum lives in next street and has been keeping an eye out for his movements. She saw him touching noses with a westie dog and approached the owners who were laughing 'about the cat from
Number 55'. My mum said 'no that's my daughters cat'
The man answered that my cat has been with them for a while and they have named him thinking he a stray. He also goes into their house and sleeps with their dog!!!!!
He is only now coming home to eat once a day in the morning and seems healthy and happy. I can't lock him in.
I am v heartbroken as feel have lost him. What to do?
