A few weeks ago I came across some abandoned kittens in my garden. They've been with a foster carer, but now are ready to be re homed and I'm getting one.

She is a white and grey fluffy girl, and I have no ideas of names. DC are likely to choose some naff cartoon character name hmm

I was thinking maybe Stella, but DH said its a dogs name. double hmm

Photos!! We need photos!

To look at cute kittens see if she looks like a Stella smile

how about Stormfly after the exceptionally cool dragon in the How to Train Your Dragon books?

Do not accept votes from the DCs --unless you want a cat named after a bloody Transformer

No, Stella isn't a soft grey and white fluffy cat, she is harsher and more serious.

How about Alaska? Opal? Suzy?

Don't know why but they seem like the right sort of names!

Georgie.

I suggest it on every kitten thread, one day one of you will use it. But, yes pictures are needed to confirm cuteness levels.

Can't have Georgie as my sisters name.

Photo of her, she is teeny tiny.

And DC have no say as the last cat we had was called Dora, as in the explorer.

Oh my god she's bloody beautiful.

I'm leaning towards Julie, but I like people names for pets.

Fluffycloudland77 Fri 28-Aug-15 21:32:58

ooerrmissus Fri 28-Aug-15 21:36:36

She looks like a Mary to me.

rembrandtsrockchick Fri 28-Aug-15 21:42:49

Pickle...Branston for short!

CheezyBlasters Fri 28-Aug-15 21:44:23

Dandelion Clock, because she looks like one.

She is a complete bless-poppet.

ShipwreckedAndComatose Fri 28-Aug-15 21:45:59

OMG she is lovely!!

Bogburglar99 Fri 28-Aug-15 22:06:51

She is gorgeous. My kids named the cat down the road Dandelion - seems a good name for a small fluffy cat?

My family's suggestions are: DD Squidget,
DH Tinsey, DS Freya, me Ethel

OolonColluphid Sat 29-Aug-15 10:54:55

Sophie, or Thisbe (pronounced thizz-bee)

can't ask my son as he will up the we-need-a-kitten campaign if he sees that level of awwwwwwww.

WankerDeAsalWipe Sat 29-Aug-15 10:59:14

My son wanted to call ours Susan... she is Lucy

How about Carla or Jenny

Lurkedforever1 Sat 29-Aug-15 11:01:46

Save time and name her after her favourite titbit, if you ever need to call her it's what she'll respond to rather than a name. once she's trained you.

CollieEye Sat 29-Aug-15 11:07:12

You might be surprised by the names kids come up with. DD (4) called one of our cats Talullah, and DS (7) named this one Mathilda. And she looks like yours!

ALemonyPea Sat 29-Aug-15 12:28:01

Oh I like the name Tallulah.

Lots of good suggestions, so hard to choose a name. Can't have Sophie or Susan as have family members with those names.

Oolon, you can never have enough cats, I'm sure a kitten would be lovely.

WendyTorrance Sat 29-Aug-15 12:29:21

envy

Rarity08 Sat 29-Aug-15 14:00:05

Aww, soooo cute smile
How about
Mimi
Marple (after Miss Marple)
Lucky
Harper

CollieEye Sat 29-Aug-15 21:16:19

Tallulah is a great name to shout when calling in for food. Lots of scope for drawn out vowels. Taaaaaaa-loooooooooo-laaaaaaaaaa. Always helpful for pet names.

spudmasher Sat 29-Aug-15 21:20:07

Electra...Demeter...Bombalurina!
Big Cats fan here.....the naming of cats is a serious matter. No fluffy rubbish for these amazing creatures please!

ShipwreckedAndComatose Sun 30-Aug-15 07:43:15

I have to say, she looks like a Tallulah to me smile
