I was cleaning the house today and found lots of tuxedo cat hairs and the greasy mark where Lexy used to slink along the living room window, waiting for us to return from work.
Wondering if I will ever feel better. I keep 'seeing' her about the house and last night thought she was waiting for me at the patio doors. Her 'sister', Lola, doesn't seem to have noticed she's gone, though she's coming to see me more than she used to.
RIP Lexy. I miss you so much and I'm sorry you left us that way.

It must be really hard when you see these reminders. Sorry you are feeling sad. She was a lovely looking cat.

If it helps, you are not alone. Holly died last Tuesday after 19 years of being simply the best companion I could ever have. I am seeing her everywhere and sometimes even thing I hear her. to you xx
