Does your cat make you feel guilty?

Not at all. I'm so keen to get calories into Seniorboy that if he expresses an interest in something, he gets it ! (Unless it would be actively bad for him.)

Appropriate diets have gone to hell in a handbasket in this house so just as well that he's a very well-trained cat.

Mine try for general guilt. Yesterday it was raining, and one of them was asleep on the front step looking all pitiful. Which would work if they didn't have a cat flap and choose to sleep outside in the day.

Yes, yes and yes. She nips my legs and looks at me with venom if she doesn't get her own way. She stares pointedly and cries incessantly when I don't feed her exactly when she wants. She is a madam.

I always say I bet Jamie Oliver doesnt have to cook with a bengal on the worktops.

I'm trying to train him to eat on the worktop in the utility to contain the mess but he cracks on he cant jump that far...

I do get a 'disappointed' look when I make the sun go in or fail to produce it on demand. That's the nearest I get.

I'm always getting the look. It's if they get shooed off the work tops, if I dare to go to the loo and don't let them sit there watching, if we dare to eat before our Lord and masters, when I go out, if I don't let them sleep on the bed, when I lock the cat flap, when I don't thank them for a fresh mouse. Everyone's a critic in this house.

Little Monsieur's going through a fussy madame stage. I put his food down, he rushes towards it, gives it a sniff, then saunters away looking disappointed. He loves his dry food though.

Had to put ear cleaner in his ears. He hid and sulked in the bush and wouldn't even come in for Dreamies. All I could see was 2 big blue eyes with a scared/sad/suspicious expression.

I accidentally stepped on MCat's tail today. Much screeching, and both are giving terrified looks at my feet. If they were able to ring RSPCA I think they would.

I'm sure they'll serve me up more guilt tomorrow. Bloody martyr cats.

I think I'm lucky, mines not a greeder unless I'm eating melon.. Then she's all over me.

I'd love to know what's with the toilet thing though.. Why do they like to follow? Even if I go during the night she'll humph, drag herself out of bed and supervise me, then see me back to bed and flop down in her own like it was an effort. I'm quite capable of peeing on my own!

It's because some cats get promoted to the rank of Toilet Police. They take it very seriously. Not sure who employs them. Environmental health maybe?

Tonight Madame essentially licked the jelly off her dinner pouch then ignored it...plus ignored dry food...then properly wailed all night. From the pitiful sounds you'd think she was being starved
I gave in and gave her the good stuff. Sheba. I am now back in her good books.
I am off on holiday tomorrow so already feel guilty

Well I could imagine Jamie Oliver beating his own legs with a steak hammer before roasting them. Then smugly carving up his legs exclaiming, "Taste my difference!"
