Builder said we can't stay at home whole of our ground floor will be gutted, concrete floor will be dug up in places.

Don't know why I'm asking really, as I know he'll have to go to a cattery. It's just I'm concerned he'll hate me for it!!

They don't seem to. How long would it be for?

Mines ok in a cattery until he sees me come to collect him. Then it's been awful and I must be severely told off all the way home.

If you look on cat international they still have their old cattery list up. I found ours on there. They have horses he can watch and dogs.

I'll probably go to either my parents in the uk (I now live in a different country) or my in laws (not cat lovers, and I'd also be terrified of my cat being accidentally run over by my fil's wheelchair - almost happened before outside our house, fil's sight not great.)

I've used a cattery near us before, but that was when he wasn't such an outdoors cat. Not heard of cat international, shall look it up.

I am being silly I know!! He can't stay in the house and even if he goes to my in laws he'll have to stay in anyway.

It'll be about seven days.

The plus side of a good cattery is they have runs (generally) for exercise.

Downside: he's away from you and his home. The inlaws also don't like cats and there's the possibility of an accident.

Cat International does sound great unless he's petrified of dogs.
