The litter tray

It looks like the last two kittens are going to have to go to an animal shelter..

My cat had kittens 10 weeks ago. They were accidental kittens ( she came to is apparently neutered and well..wasn't). 3 out of the 5 have been rehomed but I've just had the woman who was meant to be having the last two saying she no longer can.

We can't keep them, there isn't enough room and two cats and a 7 month old is more than enough. Pets at home won't advertise for rehoming so it looks like they're going to have to go to a shelter Sad

Where in the country are you? Perhaps people can recommend a shelter.

I'd love kittens but 19 year old cat would have a coronary!

and I would go belistic if someone told me a cat had been spayed and it turned out they hadn't. How bloody irresponsible of whoever it was.

Kittens should find a home pretty quickly so don't feel too bad about it even though it's good to know where they're to go if you can manage it.

Poor little kittens. Please try keeping them until you can regime them. If you're in the NE I might be persuaded

Rehome I mean.

I'm in the south east.

You'd think people would be all over them as they're adorable but seemingly not. I'm also very wary as people wanting to buy them for dog bait Sad

Very irresponsible, especially as I have a vet as a family friend and would have had no issue getting her spayed.

I feel I should probably attach a photo for you all..

They are gorgeous, where are you. We were going to wait until the move, but that looks like it could be a year away, cannot wait that long.

Sadly there are just too many kittens out there! Our local Cats Protection had over 300 last year! Our poor baby girl was a kitten when they took her and was 15 months before we took her. If you can't home them do try Cats Protection they will try take them in or put them in a foster home.

OP, if you are in Essex I know two rescues who could help.

Bow Lodge Cat Rescue
Basildon Cat Rescue

also Goldies Oldies who generally take on old cats but do take kittens too. I got my youngest cat from them as a kitten four years ago.

You will find them all on Facebook and via Google too I think.

Advertise on Gumtree and Preloved and any local sites to you, The Sun etc

Alfieisnoisy · 23/06/2015 20:19

DON'T advertise on Gumtree or Preloved....that's straight into the pockets of the baiters.

Oh my gosh they are absolutely beautiful. If I were near to you I would have one in a heartbeat. But I am in the south west. Sad

Omg, they're gorgeous! I'm not near you so can't suggest anywhere. You need TheCatNeuterer, she is in London and might be able to advise you.

If you are near Surrey ours came from Katz Castle. Great place.

Please don't put them on gumtree or similar. You really have no idea where they will end up.

Report
foxinsocks · 23/06/2015 20:31

Ah I see they are white :)

We can do white kittens. Let me know as otherwise I am going to go to a shelter anyway.

Am SW London-ish
