The litter tray

How much do kittens eat?

I am feeding next door's 10 month kittens for a few days. Other neighbours have been doing it but I'm doing the last few days of neighbours holiday.

Kittens' owners told me to feed them 1 pouch each, once in the morning and again at 5pm, and some dry food. Other neighbour (who appears to be mad as a box of frogs) has just talked me through the requirements and had said it a pouch between them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. She also wanted me to use a totally different cat litter as she didn't like what had been left(!)

So if I feed them a pouch each twice a day with a gap of 9 hours between, as requested by the owner of the kittens, is that OK?

I'd give a pouch each, kittens are eating machines.

Thank you. I thought a pouch each. Not sure what this lady was on about!

The mad as a box of frogs lady also told me to pour water over the food as they like licking the sauce. Think I'll be ignoring that advice too.
