The litter tray

Cat has started visiting our garden since we let the kittens out ... normal?

6 month old kittens (neutered) have been let out for a week or so now. They haven't ventured further than the back garden so far.

But another cat has been visiting our garden and spending hours in it.

There have been no fights and they all seem to be getting along.

Is this normal?

Some cats like having cat friends. In our old house, a bengal male and a tortoiseshell female used to enjoy hanging out with MCat.

I like that.

A little cat posse hanging in our garden.

He/She was crying by the back door in the early hours of the morning the other day which wasn't so nice though. I'm sure it has a home because he looks well fed.

ASBO cat had mates when we lived in the first house. They went in each other's gardens and hung out.

The other cats owner described ours as a bloody nightmare because he was fascinated by her tortoise.

I like it when they have little cat mates to play with.

Just to be on the safe side, (you mention cat crying at your door in the wee hours), You could put a paper collar on the cat, with your details on it.

See, I keep my cats in at night. I think most people do nowadays.
