The litter tray

I have completely forgotten the rules for flea treatment stuff...

Argh, this is daft, sorry.
So we have a mix of Frontline & Frontline Combo I use on the moggies. (I am happy they work ok).

Combo kills fleas & stops them breeding, regular fRontline only kills fleas.

What about Advantage, Advocat, others? Something called HomeGuard? Which one does what?

I'd like a combination flea killer + flea breeding control. Frontline Combo isn't the only such product, right?

Combined killing adult fleas and household control
Frontline Combo
Broadline
Advocate
Activyl
There are several more can't think of now and three others were launched last weekend at big Veterinary conference as Advocate ran out of patent a few weeks ago.

If Advocate is just out of patent, will that make it non-prescription Lone? (A poster has asked about Advocate status on another thread.)

Not non-prescription just other companies can produce generic versions that will hopefully be cheaper.

I use Stronghold. It kills fleas etc not sure about flea control though. My cat also has the six-monthky injection that sterilises any fleas that jump on to her.
