MKitten committed murder!

I woke up, went to check on MKitten (he usually sleeps with me) and found him patting the body of a still warm tiny mouse! sad

So I knew MCat had murderous tendencies in the past (including stoats), but MKitten's a Devon Rex, who apparently make friends with a creature rather than kill it! I found a frog in the house a couple months back, but he was just patting it gently. I thought he'd brought it in order to make friends with it. [naive]

Feel guilty for buying him lots of life-like toy mice. sad Did I encourage him to kill?

But it is mousy destiny to be killed by cats. It will be in mousy heaven now where the cats run slow and never catch them.

Thank you sashh. I'm sure that MKitten was only trying to make friends. The little thing didn't have a mark on it. It was probably scared to death. sad

MKitten is strutting about like charlie big potatoes though.

.......was only trying to make friends......

Huh! It's a cat you've brought into the household, not a rabbit. grin

Ah, I'm just trying to come to terms that this bouncy, happy-go-lucky cat-in-sheeps'-clothing is a killer!

Still luffs the curly little murderer.

I just squeaked at that picture! So cute!

Ah thanks Medusa and Juney. Tis a good thing he's cute because he can be a little bugger, paws into everything.

His winter coat's grown in since then, he has curly hairs on his chest now.

I warned you after the first picture that he had attitude by the bucket load.

It'll be birds next. Then baby rabbits.

Mantra cat has taught him well.

Oh no Fluffy, he'll have a bonanza next spring with the poor fledglings! I'm still wondering if really he was just trying to make friends, then the mouse died of fright...
