Ostensibly for when we go away at weekends but really to fill each night so we don't have to get up early to feed the cat

We've got this one, which has icepacks so you can keep wet food fresh overnight. Never had any problems with it, though we don't use it at all now that we're a two cat household, as we'd have to get a second one and white cat would no doubt figure out that if she was quick she could guts both meals before madcat noticed the food was even there.

That looks good - thanks

Don't get the one that opens using a flap like a jack in the box, they can break into them.

You can get one that recognise your cats chip & only open for that cat.

Oh I've never had a strange cat in the house before & this new one is a bit of a house cat (by choice)

I think I saw one that went round like a turntable? Is that what you meant?

This one is rubbish.

If you have a cat flap they can just wander in. Nothing tastes better than stolen food.

If you don't have a flap then it's not an issue.

Now I need one that will arrive (or I can buy from a shop) before christmas hmm

How frustrating

We have the Catmate C50 5-Meal Automatic Feeder for my neurotic secondhand Siamese boy and it works very well. He does not do skipping meals.

It's reduced to £38.95 on Amazon and in stock for next day delivery.

Thank you

All sorted & it will arrive on Tuesday (for free)
