DCat hasn't come home - worried sick

My gorgeous girlie hasn't come home tonight. We saw her at 3pm and she went back outside. She usually comes back for her tea at about half 4/5 but hasn't Hmm

DH has been out shaking her tub of dreamies but nothing. Trying to convince myself that she'll be curled up in her spot on the sofa when I come down in the morning but I'm already planning how I will be searching for her in the morning.

Oh dear. There's not much you can do tonight, does she have a cat flap?.

Hopefully she'll come back overnight.

Can you check neighbours front gardens? Any fireworks might have disorientated her.

Really sorry she's not home - I have been in this position and it is awful. My cat is not wanting to stay in tonight so maybe they are all sensing good weather and want to be out & about exploring?

When my cat didn't come home I posted on here and was inundated with stories of cats who came back (sometimes after quite a while!). It was more common than I had realised. The waiting is very hard but fingers crossed she will be back overnight. Keep trying with the cat treats.

She's back!! I was just discussing with DH how I was going to go searching for her this morning and she's shot through the cat flap.

So relieved, giving her a big breakfast at the moment Smile

I reckon she's been stuck in a shed or garage over night. She doesn't seem any worse for her night out.

That's wonderful news. I bet she's glad to be back too.
