My 4 year old girl has not been seen since yesterday morning. She has always stuck close to home in the past and will come running when we shake her treat box. Missed dinner yesterday which she has never done before, and she has never stayed out overnight before. We have searched the whole area but no sign of her. Getting really worried now....

It's that time of year when cats get trapped in sheds. I think sooner rather than later I've be putting notes through all neighbouring houses asking them to check sheds/garages. Good luck. The chances are you'll see her again soon.

Ours used to go off gallivanting in the summer.

Hope she comes back soon.

Don't lose hope, if the weather is warm & sunny she may well just have gone off for a wander. Definitely ask local people to check sheds/garages etc and maybe ask your postman/milkman to keep an eye out. Is she microchipped?
Fingers crossed she comes back very soon

About an hour ago I could have written your post. Our 4 yo girl also disappeared but for a week. I was so sad earlier. DH went for a search and whilst squeaking for her behind the house she came back!! Don't give up hope!

Our cat was missing for 11 days one summer, having been trapped in someone's shed. Like previous posters say ask everyone to look in sheds - not just near neighbours but posters on lampposts for at least 2 rows in each direction as cats are no respecters of property boundaries and can range quite far.

Sad news. Spent all morning leafleting the local area and had a call to say someone saw her in the river behind our house at the weekend, and they could not get to her before she was swept away. So sad.

That's awful, do you think there's any chance she survived & is down river?.

I'm so sorry.

We checked along the river but there is a section where is goes under the road and lots of debris so don't think she would have made it out. Such a horrible thing to happen we are devastated. Am grateful to the lady who called me as it can't have been an easy call to make.
