Only overnight...leaving in the morning and back Sunday evening so like 2 days as well. DS will be in Saturday evening and Sunday morning to feed her, clean tray, open and close shutters (she likes to sit in the window) and to sit in the house for a couple hours so she has company although she is not that keen on him Grin

I am being silly and getting all emosh, she is nearly 3 and first time apart.
What if she cries all the time (I know she won't she is a quiet girl)
I have plugged in the feliway and will wedge open all doors in case she gets locked in(she has done that before in DDs bedroom whilst I was at work)
Indoor cat do no worries about her not coming home.
She'll be alright wont she?
I will miss her but my mum is not very well and I have to travel to Yorkshire.
Ignore me. Just being a Pratt
Anything I have forgotten before I go?

She'll be fine - although be prepared for her to guilt you when you get back. Grin

Hope your Mum improves after your visit.

Thanks Cozie
Yes she will guilt me. I think she knows already she keeps putting her face on my arm and looking up at me with doe eyes Grin
She sleeps on my bed with me and I am getting a tight throat thinking of her on my bed wondering where I am
I am being absolutely ridiculous. For goodness sake
I will bring her some catnip back

Oh dear, at least your ds is willing to go round for a cat who isn't too keen on him.

Have you laminated the 16 page guide to poppy care or did you get it bound in triplicate?.

Oh My. I'm surprised you haven't set up a webcam and Skyping facility.

(I may regret saying that.)

She has been moody since I got the call from Yorkshire. She is royally pissed at me

Haha this did make me laugh! Poppy looks very like my boy!

I feel sad every time I leave the house, but if I ever have a day off he sulks that I am disturbing him! He goes to sleep as we leave and is in the exact same spot when we return! She will be fine with your DC for company, she might not even remember to sulk, mine always forgets!

Just think about your first lovely cuddle when you get home Smile

I can't believe poppy is 3.

Worst case scenario is you come home to a poppy-Ds love-in.

How did it go?

Everything went fine Smile
Poppy didn't leave my room on DS first visit, but on the morning visit she came out to see who it was and duly looked at DS and walked away Grin
She was do happy to see me rolling over and showing me her belly and lay across my back all night in bed

I missed her so much.
Oh and mum is much better
Thankyou all for the hand hold Thanks
