Now that it's hot PestoCat doesn't seem to be that interested in eating his wet food at mealtimes. I'm not worried too much as he always has dry food available, but I hate leaving uneaten wet food down for too long as it encourages flies.
He also is not lurking around the house so much, seems to be off out a lot more. He is a young cat and this is his first summer with us, so I haven't got a lot to go on. And it's rather lovely round here with lots of countryside to explore. So I'm hoping that it's not that he doesn't want to be here with us (he does always come back), but rather that there's better options to explore for a young enquiring cat to investigate.
Please reassure me if you can, our last cat was elderly & didn't wander off that much.
